Laine IHS makes the best black metal art that has come out within recent years.

The darkness and despair are real but they lead to much more existential meditation than most of the bands that do somewhat similar style of black metal. And it is not solely because of the subject matter, for as most of us who have pondered these subjects know, it can be done superficially or it can be done with passion and this is going for the latter all the while choking your heartstrings with rusted barbwire.
